Built in 1907, the hundred years old villa is one of the rare Liberty villa complexes in the city. The villas have a rich history and are protected under strict regulations. They have been homes to many Italian families, they hold the memories of the neighborhood, so we wanted to make sure the traces of the past can be seen through out the newly built reinforced concrete structure. Hence the interior gives a dramatic contrast between modern vintage and contemporary minimal. The building is restored to be energy sufficient; it is insulated and is installed with solar-panels.
